Remote Assist

Wouldn't it be great if the next time your computer was misbehaving or if you had a question on how to do something, an experienced technician could just appear at your side and show you how to do what you needed to do? Well life must be great because it is possible.

 

Using the best-of-breed client-server technology of Citrix, ENLLC technicians can initiate an interactive session with you while you sit at your computer. You can watch and talk to the technician as he/she shows you how the pros do things. We can send you helpful web sites and push down useful applications and patches to help the process go faster. Heck, if we need to restart your computer it will hook back up automatically!

 

Fees for remote assist are $45.00 per hour and are billed in increments of 15 minutes. Here is how it is arranged:

  • Call Effective Networking at the number below and discuss your problem with the next available technician.
  • If you have a working Internet connection and if the technician determines that the problem can be either fixed or mostly diagnosed remotely he will ask if you wish to begin a remote session
  • Remote Assist requires a valid credit card. The technician will get your credit card number and check that it is valid. You will also be asked to give a mailing or electronic mail address in order to send a receipt for your bill after the session is complete. No charges will be made at this time.
  • The technician will direct you to our Remote Assist portal and give you a code to enter. At that time a small, secure application will be downloaded to your computer to enable the remote session. You will have to click through two or three boxes to allow the program to be set up.
  • The ENLLC technician will work with you for as long as you like on the issues you have requested help with. You may end the session at any time. The entire session is two-way encrypted and you see everything the technician sees.
  • At the end of your session, the technician will give you your total and run your credit card for the amount given. A copy of the receipt will be sent to the address you have given.
